Connect your android device to good speakers and enjoy the sound in high fidelity. Ideally place the speakers at least 3 to 4 feet away for the best effect.

I have included several digitized tanpura profiles. Use them and adjust the tempo/pluck-style to get the best combination that suits your taste.

Much better now

it's improved my singing, notes in other tanpura apps were off.. Works best with speakers. Still little things to improove , i checked the frequencies and the main notes are very clear, but some background notes that are not selected, but still played, are off,(like X X Pa sa sa sa, NI is a bit off) but this you can't even hear it, you need to check the frequency to realize. I 've tried different tanpura apps (even buying full version) and this one is the best tanpura app on Android by far. Thanks!!!

That's very good to know and thanks for the compliments. The notes that you hear are because of the strong harmonics from the lower strings. That's indeed a good observation. I want to add one more profile with tunable harmonic map. Hopefully it will make the sound even better and complete. But I am worried about the processing power required.
