DEVICE TRACKING
With a Member account, the app detects your device's movement and records GPS readings to collect highly accurate "position data" as you travel. This data can be recorded without a WiFi or mobile data connection and automatically syncs to your account on our server when your device connects to the internet. Your traveled path is displayed as a route line on a map, and privacy options let you decide who can view your map. Your map will also appear in the app for your own use.

Share your Tracker map link with selected friends and family so they can view your tracking on any device using the Tracker app or on the ExplorOz website. Ask them to download this app - it's free!

Install Tracker on other family devices to monitor their movements (e.g., ensuring children reach school safely, tracking a partner who runs or cycles, or monitoring a family member on holiday). Simply log in to the app with your Member account to control the settings. Each app download is free!

GPS OPERATION:
For Tracking, your device must have an inbuilt or external GPS to show the current position and use navigation features. If you have a WiFi-only iPad, connect an external GPS receiver.

NETWORK CONNECTION:
While tracking can occur without an internet connection, a network connection is required to sync all stored position data to your personal Tracking map.

BATTERY USAGE:
Tracking can be done while the app runs in the background and with the screen-saver on. Note that GPS usage may decrease battery life.
