Description

Simple application for mapping tiled dungeons while playing your favorite old school rpg and dungeon games in emulators.

What it does:

Application offers way for placing tiles, boundaries and widgets on the layers. It can runs in full screen, however can switch to popup mode when it does not cover whole screen. This size and position of popup can be customized. Application offers some pre-made resources, however users can import theirs own.

In addition, Magic Dosbox can send commands, include screenshots through broadcast to this application.

It includes sample map.

So far quite enjoying the app, the only criticism I have is that you are not able to make your own custom widgets, you are stuck with the "simple mark" and "portal", which limits me when designing dungeons for a dnd campaign, unless I want all the loot, combat, puzzle, and everything else to have the same icon unstead of being able to organize it by icon for easier understanding. Otherwise still a fantastic app, simple UI, the features are easy to understand, and pulling in new textures is easy!

Amazing app from an amazing, responsive dev. They addressed an issue I had and fixed it within 1 day. This app makes playing those old RPGs even better, providing mapping and note options. The screenshot ability for the map is a nice touch as well! The fact that you can use it with MagicDosBox or emulators is icing on the cake.
