PARENTAL CONTROL FOR ANDROID TV & GOOGLE TV

Manage your child’s TV screen time and access from your phone.

TVCP Guardian is the parent app for managing how your child uses the family TV. Set screen-time limits, block selected apps, lock the TV and create more consistent bedtime routines.

TVCP Guardian is not a traditional TV remote for changing channels or adjusting the volume. It is a parental control app designed specifically for parents.

IMPORTANT: TWO APPS ARE REQUIRED

TVCP works with two connected apps:

1. Install TVCP Guardian on the parent’s phone.
2. Install TVCP on your Android TV or Google TV.
3. Scan the QR code shown on the TV to connect both apps.

Once connected, you can manage your child’s TV access and parental control settings directly from your phone.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

SET TV SCREEN-TIME LIMITS

Choose how long your child can watch TV. When the available screen time ends, TVCP automatically locks the television.

LOCK OR UNLOCK THE TV

Lock the TV from your phone when screen time is over, it is time for homework or bedtime begins. Unlock it again whenever you decide.

BLOCK APPS ON ANDROID TV

Choose which installed apps your child can use. Block YouTube, games, streaming apps or other apps you do not want available.

SET A TV SLEEP TIMER

Choose when TV time should end automatically. The sleep timer helps support bedtime routines and consistent evening limits.

MANAGE PARENTAL CONTROLS FROM YOUR PHONE

All parental controls are available in TVCP Guardian. You do not need to take away the remote or open the settings directly on the TV.

TRIAL AND SUBSCRIPTION

A 7-day trial may be available to eligible new subscribers.

The trial includes:

• TV screen-time management
• TV lock
• App blocking
• Sleep timer

After the trial, an active subscription is required to continue using these parental control features.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account settings.

COMPATIBILITY

TVCP works with compatible Android TV and Google TV devices that support Google Play.

The TVCP app must be installed on the television, and TVCP Guardian must be installed on the parent’s phone.
