Beschreibung

This versatile app lets you create your own forms and enter the data you want to capture in the field.

Your forms can allow entry of text, numbers, dates, times, check-box options, drop-down lists of pre-defined values, photos, and your current GPS location. You can also add an auto-indexing ID field to your form. Once you've designed a form, you can easily share it with anyone else using the app by emailing it to them.

Entered data is stored in a database on your phone, and can be shared with others by emailing it as a spreadsheet-compatible CSV file. You can also export data to your phone's internal storage, and import data from a CSV file as long as the column names match the field names in your form.

To get you started, and show what is possible, the app comes pre-loaded with some example forms: a simple contacts book, a driving log book, a field sample recorder, and a questionnaire.

It does. There are just a lot of options. On the main page press the blue "View entries" button, then choose "Export" from the menu at the top right.

Simple data logger app for both qualitative and quantitative. No account required, does not need wifi to log in or open your files. I needed an app where I could create a form and fill it out, for daily logging of machinery parameters and simple tracking of maintenance. Doesn't have a lot of fancy features, like adding photos or auto geolocation data, but I don't need those for my use case. Pretty quick to install and jump in, had my first form created within 10 minutes of installation.

There is no subscription for this app. If you have paid for it once you should always be able to download it again as long as you still use the same Google account.

where are the image files stored?

The folder is shown in the "About" dialog in the app: Android/data/binaryearth.customdatarecorder. you can view this folder by plugging your phone into a Windows computer via a USB cable and browsing to it with Windows Explorer.

Fabulous app. Only problem I seem to have is when I enter the date and time fields at the start of the form, when I hit done and am prompted with submit the date and time fields have erased. Not sure if it is me or not. Update. Using Samsung S8. I think it was because I shifted a field up the entry list once data had already been entered. I cloned it and all seems OK. Great app, just what I needed. Thx G
