Description

112NL is the official app of the Dutch emergency services police, fire brigade, ambulance and Koninklijke Marechaussee. From now on you can also call 112 via 112NL in an emergency situation. If you call 112 with 112NL, you send extra data to the control room. This allows the emergency room to help you faster and better. For example, you can indicate in 112NL who you want to speak to (police, fire brigade or ambulance) and whether you cannot speak or hear properly. If the contact with you by telephone does not go well, the control room can start a chat conversation via 112NL. For example, if you have difficulty speaking or hearing, or if you do not speak Dutch or English well. In addition, your phone automatically shares your location with the control room.

Op mijn Fairphone 4 met e/OS/ werkt de 112NL app niet. Ik krijg een 403 melding met 'app attestation failed', vermoedelijk omdat de play integrity check faalt omdat er geen google play services beschikbaar zijn. In het kader van digitale soevereiniteit en privacy-vriendelijkheid zou ik het toch wel waarderen als een telefoon van de grootste Nederlandse telefoon-fabrikant met een fabrieksstandaard besturingssysteem (e/OS) ondersteund werd.

update van mijn vorige review omdat ik de app nu wel kan installeren en activeren. laatste ster ontbreekt omdat de klachten over de activatie problemen al jaren bekend waren ook op een gewone Android telefoon, die de meest recente OS heeft kan de app niet gebruikt worden. ook ik kan mijn telefoonnummer niet verifiëren
