Description

Road to Legend is a companion app for the Descent: Journeys in the Dark 2nd edition board game. When you play with Road to Legend, the app assumes the role of the overlord player, controlling monsters and inviting you to explore the dungeon in entirely new and unexpected ways.

At its heart, Road to Legend introduces a fully-formed, cooperative way to play Descent, freeing you and your friends to all play as heroes and defeat the darkness in Terrinoth. With a series of fully-formed quests and the ability to incorporate your entire collection of physical Descent expansions, Road to Legend provides a thrilling new variant on the classic Descent experience!

Edit: FFG recently updated Road to Legend for long term support, including capability with newer Android devices. Highly recommend now to anyone lucky enough to have the physical game to play with this.

This app is severely lacking in heroes and has no Undo button, making it incredibly unintuitive. It punishes players for accidental or incorrect taps, turning the game into a very frustrating experience. A game should be enjoyed, not become a constant struggle to avoid unnecessary punishment!

I love the boardgame and the app. I bought every physical and digital expansions. It worked well with my old Google Pixel 6 Pro, but it's not compatible with my new Google Pixel 9 Pro (I can't even download the app, there is no "install" button). Now a part of the game and what I've paid for is unusable. 😭
