still can't reroute on android auto, app cooks my phone (my phone is not cheap, s23 ultra) and takes forever to load, often won't load at all just gets stuck "loading" and won't default to a follow car view when no destination is set i have re-installed and wiped multiple times.

I am a subscriber and a dedicated user of this wonderful application. I am cutting my subscription because it keeps showing "app loading" on my car Android radio. The application will only load when is connected to the internet which is a deal breaker for me.

Constantly crashes when used with android auto. Has many incorrect speed limits. Edit: it's only just been downloaded, there's nothing to update. Also, how do I report the incorrect speed limits? Is that in app?

I'm trying to navigate from central Texas to Florida. I've downloaded the maps for each state of travel but the TomTom app continues to tell me it can't find a route. pretty useless.

10/3/25 Review 3/18/26 I’m disappointed you all are unable to make a correction that would allow users to see time to next destination on the app shdn using in CarPlay. It works fine if you’re only using the phone. Another useful modification would be to allow users to pre-plan a multi-step route and include your home destination in that planning. If I’m at home and planning my route, I cannot include home in my f planning unless I’m away from home. Most gps apps allow this type of planning. Since you appear robe focused on trucks in the re-branded app and renamed the amigo app to the free app(formerly amigo), why not allow users of the go expert app to sync there favorites from one app to the other. Review 9/30/25 It’s not clear what improvements were made in this update. Multi drop routing or adding waypoints was already available . Perhaps the truck piece was improved but does nothing for the car side. 9/21/25 Don’t you update the app -anymore. You’re in the 5th month since the last update. What happens to the Siri Beta you were working on two years ago to allow CarPlay users to ask Siri fog directions on the TomTom app? You all are very slow to make changes and you don’t make it easy for customers to communicate issues with lane guidance issues or speed limit issues. 8/6/25 sharing ETA Would like to have the ability to share my ETS from the CarPlay screen rather than just on the phone. 8/3/25. Speed limits Get your speed limits up to date. No excuse for a major app like TomTom. I just cancelled my Jeep Connected serviced nav subscription for this reason. You’ve got to focus on this as a firm. Allow users to submit issue based on a particular route. Allow the user to identify the particular step or steps that are wrong on the screen showing the route directions. The traffic info is excellent, but the speed limit issues are unacceptable. For a major player like TomTom it’s surprising how inaccurate your speed limit info is. I see this inaccuracy in the Jeep connected services for Uconnect 5 and I see it in the smartphone app. You have no easy way to report these inaccuracies, especially in a paid for app. I might as well use Here We go app for the offline capability. Apple Z maps, Google Msps, and Waze are much more accurate. In addition, your instructions many times don’t take you direct to the destination (door to door), sometimes your stop is in a shopping center off a hwy feeder road. TomTom will direct you to a point on the feeder road and say you’ve reached the destination? But the actual destination is still another 500 feet away. Examples are 14309 n Sam Houston pkwy e, Houston , Texas for Menchie’s. The speed limit error example is on FM1960 road from Hwy 59 feeder road into Humble. The sped limit is 50 mph, but the app goes from 30 to 60, There are many other examples. If I’m going to pay for a app, at least have it accurate.

Needs iPad support

Work great on my iPhone, but as a trucker, i use my iPad for gps. I’m hoping that in the future iPad support comes. Update. When they make this an iPad supported app, I’ll start my subscription back up again. Until then, not using it. I’ll keep checking back.. Update 1/4/26. That routes are all messed up. I put a route from Ocala FL to Lincoln NE. The route wanted me to go up to Atlanta GA then head to Birmingham, AL then up to Nashville TN at this point the route was correct. It also wants me to drive through Atlanta instead of I-285 around Atlanta, which is the legal route. Yes, I’ve got the right settings for a commercial truck. It also wants to put you on every toll road as well even though the toll road and the main road run together which goes toll roads cannot take a truck because no trucks allowed in the toll road. your algorithm is really screwed up and I think you want me to pay for this and you won’t even give me the iPad version no. Update 3/11/26. And yet still no iPad support. You would think that it’s not the hard. As a trucker for over 38 years, I would love to hook you guys up for uses, but it seems you guys just don’t care. Well I’ll keep checking back, but I will not hold my breath.

Truck routing

Truck routing is not that great. It makes odd choices that don’t always make sense. it would also be nice to get route choices like copilot truck gps does, you get up to three routes when it calculates a route. But it’s mostly it’s questionable routing choices that made me not renew and stick with copilot.

Horrible App

I've honestly tried for almost 1 year, many times the app needs my assistance to find the correct address or place is ridiculous, today I tried to go to Kia Cowboy and the app asked me to get out 1 exit early to a VACANT LOT, thanks God I perfectly knew where the place is. I'm not renewing and uninstall the app. By the way You must download maps if you’re using it or the app doesn’t work. really a waste of time and money.

Colors all wrong on TomTom Go Expert App

Loved TomTom products for many years. Now using the TomTom Go Expert App - the colors of the streets blend into the background so it is very difficult to see them (light black on black for night and white on white for day). It would be so great to be able to choose other easier to see color schemes. If so then 5 out of 5 for my purposes.
