As a new seller, my biggest concern with Etsy is visibility. You pay to open a shop and pay for every listing, yet new products can receive almost no exposure. This makes me wonder whether adding more listings will actually help or whether paid advertising eventually becomes necessary just to be seen. I haven't tried Etsy Ads yet, so I can't judge that part. But a marketplace should give new sellers a reasonable chance to reach customers organically before asking them to spend more.

Der Verkauf auf Etsy ist ein teuer Spaß geworden und sehr mühselig. An sich ist Etsy echt toll, aber leider nicht mehr so wie es einmal war.
