User interface needs work
Quantity of music on here is unmatched. Finding unreleased songs and remixes isn’t possible anywhere but here. That being said, the user interface needs work, a lot of work. Why is there no section to see new music made and posted by who you follow? Sure you can go to the discover tab but it’s cluttered with all the junk REPOSTED by everyone you follow. I don’t care about what you repost, I follow you because I like your music and that’s what I want to see when I go to the following tab not all the excess garbage. Make a “following” tab that is strictly music that has been posted by people you follow, easy done. That’s a massive feature that’s missing and the biggest flaw this app has by far. I also seem to have and issue where I go to hit “play next” and at the last millisecond, everything shifts down because the suggested people to send songs to loads in and shifts EVERYTHING down just enough so my finger taps “unlike song” instead of “play next”. Another thing I’ve noticed is sometimes the bottom 1/3 of the screen won’t register so I can’t tap the current song and need to restart the app and pause the music. Coming back to new music, why am I shown the same song I did not like the first time, 92 more times after I already heard it? Stop suggesting it, I don’t like it, find me a new suggestion. Same goes for the discover page, why the hell are you suggesting me songs to “discover”, THAT I ALREADY HAVE LIKED??? Add a “not interested” or a “heard it” button to take the song out of the suggested algorithm. Simple things like this could make this app undisputedly the best music streaming app hands down but till that happens, forget it. Hope the devs see this!!!
