Terrible, terrible app for podcasts. Terrible chatbot for customer service. Awful

There were two versions of this app and I left a longer version on the other version. This app is really really annoying. Save yourself the aggravation. Don’t even bother trying.

Billing issues

I found I stopped using the app for a few months and tried to cancel the subscription, it gave me the option to pause membership. I tried to use that option but it didn’t mention it wasn’t for Apple users when I clicked on pause membership. I was under the assumption my membership was paused but I was billed next month. I’m currently trying to cancel membership but it’s very difficult to do so.

Better than the usual free book. Didn’t guess the exact ending, maybe a little bit predictable but still many twist to keep you entertained.

Battery Drainer

As the title says, my iPhone 11 battery drains into the red after three hours of listening to a downloaded book! Compared to Overdrive, my public library’s download/listening app, the battery is still at 60% at the end of the day! Since Audible will not download into iBooks, I will have to go back to the MacBook transfer method.

The book was OK, missing a lot of adjectives. A lot of repetitive action without much difference in the descriptions. Hard to keep track of where you were.
