depuis que j'utilise TomTom je n'ai jamais eu aucun problème. j'ai remplacé mon TomTom professionnel provisoirement par cette application payer un an soit 89 €. au final, j'aurais mieux fait d'attendre et de racheter un nouveau professionnel de chez TomTom. premièrement les mises à jour quand il y en a. il n'y a pas de bug mais la plupart du temps ça bug à chaque fois. deuxièmement, hier toutes mes adresses professionnelles ont été supprimées provisoirement gros bug informatique. (n'achetez pas)

Bon, après l'euphorie de départ suite à l'Upgrade en version payante (de base, excellente à plus d'un titre), bim ! tous mes favoris se sont volatilisés. Sérieux ??? Cache vidé+ désinstall/réinstall/log... rien n'y fait. Au passage, le Chatbot : inutile, "il" ne comprend rien! Si je dois me retaper toutes les saisies de mes favoris, franchement pas cool ! So, next step ? Edit : release 3.6.297-beta (5292)

depuis plus de 10 ans j'utilise TomTom quasiment presque tous les jours et depuis hier il n'y a plus moyen de garder ses trajets en mémoire. A chaque fois je retrouve un trajet disparu et c'est pourquoi TomTom viens pour moi inutilisable dans ces conditions. Je pense sérieusement à annuler l'abonnement qui devrait être renouveler tantôt si d'ici ces prochains jours rien ne bouge chez TomTom pour trouver la solution à ce problème !!!!!

Not bad - when it works

All in all, it’s your typical GPS routing device, however, there certainly are times when it gets confused and cannot get you to your destination - or even close. Example, I put a pin at a location I was at so I could come back. A few weeks later, I ask to travel to the pin location and the routing took me on a long, confusing route yet never took me to my location. It would make me go around different roads, travel in circles but could not get me to my pin, which was just an intersection. Totally bizarre.

Don’t bother

In Canada that maps are out of date by at least 5 years. I’ve been in my neighborhood for 5 years and it’s just any empty field. They also dangle a discounted yearly subscription if you skip the 7 day trial… which hid the fact the maps are not up to date. Too bad to, as I like the interface and navigation, but the app is now useless to me without having up to date maps.

Mispronunciation

I quit this app because it constantly mispronounced Ave. as the ave in “cave”, not as Avenue or the ave in “have” It managed or was programmed to pronounce Rd. as “Road” and St. as “Street” ok. Does anyone know if it still has this quirk?

A shadow of its former self.

TomTom used to have an excellent initiative interface and fantastic map detail and contrast. Now it’s all shades of brown and you have to zoom in if you hope to see the name of a road or even viewing the road itself. Essentially useless for navigating to a map point. This all came about when they stopped supporting the paid app and went to a subscription service.
