Adventure sync

They force you to turn this on the second you enter the app. I’ve tried using it turned off but the game tweaks out and takes you to the settings to turn your location on for the ‘always’ option. Personally I don’t want an app knowing where i am all the time and I’m sure others might not either.

Giovanni now timed?

I am very upset to see that the conversion of the game to passes and away from special research means that Giovanni became a 6 day event that closed without me attaining my super rocket radar. Lame… can I please have a chance at Giovanni this time around, it was rude enough to give certain test market area’s an extra shadow Articuno Giovanni, but to find out I missed one because of these passes is horrific and enticing of rage quitting.

Fix Imperative Updates

For updates it would be *much* better if Niantic said something like "update available. You must update nlt (date)" or even "...update before (time) today." The way it has always been, "we don't care where you are or that there is a raid starting or even that you are on roaming cellular data, *UPDATE NOW!!"
