started this thread 1/3/23 & as of 1/8/26 this app has slightly improved in speed but is still really slow to sort categories & display the price. ww should take some of the money gouged from us punters & buy a new PC or hire someone at head office to pedal faster. basically it's just another colesworth meh app. 12/7/26 instead of drilling down through categories the app now suggests the category. another star for colesworth.

I have used the app a few times, and whilst the app itself is well crafted and easy to use, the delivery of the service leaves a lot to be desired. The delivery drivers have all been amazing (a rare thing, these days), but the packers, (mouldy tomatoes) the low levels of stock, the enormous delivery fee, and the disfunctional Unlimited Delivery subscription make it impossible for me to recommend. One is forced to wait a week for a $2 window or pay $15. I DO NOT recommend.

for a few months now the app is very slow on wifi, but fine on mobile network. I have no issues with my wifi or with other apps on wifi, seems to be isolated to the woolies app. annoying. update April 2026. still happening. I have already deleted and reinstalled the app previously it doesn't fix it. update July 202y. I submitted a support request about the app not loading (or loading extremely slowly on wifi). they never responded after I gave them screen recordings and details and following up

When I search for a product, 15 second video ads automatically play in the search results. I can't hide them. They take up too much screen space and use up data. The search results also show irrelevant products that take up half the page and don't include the keywords I searched for. The shopping list is a great feature but the list needs to be more compact, because I can only see 2 items on the screen and I have to scroll a lot. Please remove all ads, improve the search and shopping layout
