Aside not even having dark mode, still in 2026, the app refuses to give you access if you don't update, even if the previous update was only a couple of month ago. They force you to update, or it closes you out, tha should be an accessibility denial infringement. Insidious. No excuse for this behaviour acceptable. This version says it only has minor bug fixes, bugs which I don't have, still blocks you. Give me back my access you bastards.

Used to be ok, now abysmal. The app will not remember sign-in credentials (biometric or pin) beyond a SINGLE session. Reported widely but Westpac support tries to gaslight you into thinking it's just you and your device. Uninstall /reinstall works for a couple of days at best. PS don't even bother suggesting I ring support - how are they going to fix a fundamentally broken app? The only fix is an update properly tested across a multitude of Android devices (not just a few popular ones!)
