Description

Okta Verify is a lightweight app that allows you to securely access your apps via 2-step verification, ensuring that you, and only you, can access your app accounts.

While you access your apps, you'll choose a 2-step verification method provided by Okta Verify to finish signing in. You can verify your identity using a push notification sent to your device (if enabled by your organization), a temporary 6-digit code, or biometrics (if enabled by your organization).

We do request permission to use your device camera so that you can scan a QR code when you enroll your device with Okta.

It's dumb that I have to download a convoluted authenticator app to access my records.

This app is a joke and nothing but a barrier to getting anything done. Do not use this, find a better authenticator that wasn't programmed by middleschoolers using AI

sometimes this app will just refuse to register touch inputs. Like when I need to verify my sign in I cannot type any of the numbers, or anything on the screen. It just becomes completely frozen? no other apps on my phone are frozen in the same time - it's literally only this app. This is so frustrating because it's the only way I can log into my university portal but it just doesn't work properly!!!!!!!!

Bobbing Around

v8.27.0

Would give it 0 stars if I could. I'm trying to log in to my university email account. It makes me verify myself using Okta. But the Okta app makes me add an organization as an account in the app, so I have to type in my university log in url in the app. The app then acts as a web browser and loads the same page as my computer web browser telling me to open the Okta app and tap on a number, which I can't do because it's already open, just acting as a web browser.
