Seamless

Use this app every day. I set up a virtual Wise card as the payment method in IDR and now it’s just book, get in, get out and leave a review. Issues: sometimes the app assigns a driver/rider too far away or assigns one that has literally just passed me on a one way, which in areas of Bali means the driver must go around again, this translates into waiting far too long meaning one of must cancel. My understanding is that cancelling a ride goes against your credibility. A great feature would be the ability to set favourite departure points and favourite destinations by either address or map pin drop. I travel between a number of places frequently.

Taxi ride from Gading Serpong to Karang Tengah

Sympathy for the driver TRIWAN. He sounds like a cleft-lip (sumbing). Nonstop watching a movie drama on his phone, switching from WhatsApp to his movie. This is the 1st time seeing a driver who must focus on driving & road condition, yet his eyes must do both his movie watching & driving. At a junction near Bethsaida Hospital, a car honked really loud to alert him from being hit. On the tollway, he was driving zigzag avoiding big & very slow trucks, turning on his indicator light but failed to turn off straightaway, making annoying clicking sounds. And what do you expect? When his ears are blocked with earphones? He couldn’t even hear anything but the movie he was watching! Coming close to my house, he started telling me about his plan for tomorrow. How he gives out free packets of food to those poor people on the streets. I am touched by his good heart of course but not impressed at all by his decision to drive & watch movie & texting all at the same time! I could be caught in a car accident! Drivers at GRAB should understand the seriousness of this behavior.
