The fitbit app was good and it logged vox2 automatically. The latest Google health app doesn't and it doesn't log all my work outs. All in all it's useless and I will be getting rid of my fitbit.

spends 3 pages advertising how cool the new google health app is, then loads infinitely on the actual app. Also since it won't sync with my watch the stupid thing is now off by an hour with no way to fix it. Uninstalling, and buying a dumb watch. Classic google. takes a perfectly functional thing, breaks it, and pretends they've added value.

You’ve ruined Fitbit

Adding my 10c to the chorus of boos for this forced change. Despite all the comms that everything would be seamless the new app is unusable. It simply won’t sync with my Fitbit. I had to go through an hour of troubleshooting yesterday for the initial setup, which admittedly worked. But then this morning it’s back to “can’t connect to your charge 6”. Got on live chat and they’re suggesting I need a new Fitbit!! No, you need to bring the old app back.

Best features removed

Bring back the old Fitbit app! Can’t track by calorie deficit, can’t add foods or make custom meals, can’t map your walks/runs, can’t view all stats by flicking back per day, can’t check cardio load improvement, ‘today’ tab mostly taken up by useless and unwanted messages. Why take a perfectly working app and remove the features your customers use daily?

Major fail?

The new app reports Zone Minutes in the walk summary as being the same as the total walk time, not just the time in the exercise zones. Time in each zone is correct, but that info isn’t used when calculating the zone minutes. At least it’s still right on the Fitbit.

Mad

Tells me to move my Fitbit account to google health then Fitbit tells me my google account is managed by a school or other organisation (it isn’t) so it can’t be moved. Madness.
