seriously ! cancel the forced spending notifications ! what right do you have to impose a setting that's not changeable. wasting my time having to click on 3 screens to make them go away everytime when all I want to do is my banking

Why separate accounts??
Without asking you’ve separated my personal and business accounts which is an absolute pain in the butt!! I’m constantly having to toggle back and forth between them. Either reverse this stupid decision or give us the option to choose not to have it in the settings!

Nickname Payees
I’ve used a lot of banking apps across multiple institutions and honestly, the app from Commonwealth Bank is still one of the best. Clean UI, fast, intuitive, feature rich, and generally just works. It’s one of the main reasons I’ve stayed with CommBank despite having accounts and products elsewhere. But there’s one glaring omission that genuinely baffles me. For those of us who move money between multiple banks/accounts regularly, savings accounts, mortgages, offsets, investment accounts, etc, there is still no ability to properly nickname payees/accounts in the transfer address book. I want persistent, visible, user-controlled labels for saved destination accounts so I can instantly identify which account is which without having to memorise BSBs or partially obscured account numbers. This feels like App Features 101. When you’ve got five “my name” accounts across different banks and products, the current experience becomes unnecessarily clunky for something that should be dead simple. Everything else in the app feels thoughtfully designed around real-world usage, which makes this omission stand out even more. I’ve raised this before and I know I won’t be the only one. Just do it! Great but please add payment history for payees
This banking app is very good, except that it is painful to search for payments for BPAY and Pay Anyone payees. Please add the capacity to view payment history by payee and period.

Constantly doesn’t work
For ‘Australia’s best mobile app’ it sure doesn’t work half the time when you need it. Every week there are multiple days that you can’t use your card for online purchases/pay someone/transfer money because the app is down due to maintenance/technical issues. For the worlds most profitable bank, you would think they would have less of this nonsense but no… it’s every damn week and has been for the last couple of years. Infuriating

It would be hard to overemphasise how Jurassic the two factor authentication is for commbank. So many steps across two devices. I log in and out all day for several businesses. Pure pain point in my day, every day. Look at what Xero does, a hard press on a dropdown notification and you’re done, or one push on an Apple Watch notification.
