This app is an interactive companion to the book "The Handbook of Bird Identification for Europe and the Western Palearctic" – the comprehensive book for birdwatchers interested in the region. It covers ALL the regions found in the book.
This app has specific features that will enhance your birding experience.

“Bird Compare” that allows you to compare two birds on the same screen.
A personal bird list* that stores your bird sightings saved to the device that can then be exported through email.
View the Bird Index by Common or Scientific bird names either alphabetically or taxonomically.

Uninstalling the program will result in the loss of your list, it is recommended that you keep your own master list separate from the program.

Since I had to reboot my phone and reinstall everything this app hasn't reloaded at all I left it running for 36 hours and not a single page has loaded. I get a notification telling me the app is initialing (starting) and downloading the essential data. However even after 36 hours not one page has loaded! Contacted support received one email telling me they will contact me within 24 to 48 hours, I'm still waiting a week later. Not good enough for an app costing more than £25! Get you support

Detailed but not boring. Unusually well written. Fits like a glove on both my devices. Best bird book i have, and i have many.

Crashed everything I tried to lookup a bird. Of if it went there was no information displayed. Refund. Fix problems and I will repurchase

I thinks this is the best birding app available for android in Europe and the only one I would spend money one. If you have an ISomething, there are better options. It is easily searchable with good info on the birds and distribution maps. If you're familiar with Sibley's app for North America, this app will look familiar to you. However, it does miss some of the nice features from Sibley, such as the ability to narrow your selection based on location and not all birds have songs. Otherwise, it is quite expensive and it would have been great if it was available in more languages, at least with respect to the bird names. A few more upgrades would make it an great app.
