I used to be able to see things like which parts of my DNA came from which parent, and many more traits... then they went away. Now they're behind a pay wall

Horrible
I’m so disappointed with Ancestry.com. I paid for expedited processing before Christmas of last year. Even after being charged extra for this and other things that weren’t consented to and having to complain. I have STILL not received my results. I would never recommend them to anyone. Not even an enemy. I’m now going to request to have the extra fee for expedited results to be refunded. Happy to provide further feedback on how I’ve been treated and how they handled this issue

A fascinating journey into my family history
Ancestry.com has been one of the most rewarding online experiences I’ve had. What I appreciate most is how effortlessly it turns curiosity into real discovery. The platform is beautifully organised, making it easy to build a family tree, explore historical records, and uncover details I never would have found on my own. The depth of information available is genuinely impressive. Census records, immigration documents, military files, old photographs—every new hint feels like opening a door to another chapter of my family’s past. I also love how intuitive the interface is. Even as the tree grows more complex, Ancestry keeps everything clear and easy to navigate. The DNA component adds another layer of excitement. Seeing my heritage broken down and discovering genetic connections around the world was both enlightening and surprisingly emotional. It made my family history feel bigger, richer, and more interconnected than I ever expected. What really sets Ancestry.com apart is the sense of connection it creates. It’s not just about names and dates—it’s about stories, journeys, and the people who shaped who I am today. Every time I log in, I feel like I’m piecing together something meaningful and lasting. If you’re curious about your roots or want to preserve your family’s legacy for future generations, Ancestry.com is absolutely worth it. It’s engaging, reliable, and genuinely inspiring. A wonderful investment in understanding where you come from and celebrating the people who came before you.
