Broken Sword 5: Episode 1

This game in the Broken Sword series was my favorite. The puzzles were different than others in similar point and click games. I enjoyed the storyline and the animation was awesome. very well done.

Game seems great, just like the old school ones BUT I'm having a major issue. When downloading further assets after the games opening it always and I do mean always gets stuck at 366.60mb. it will not go any further no matter what i do. Uninstall, reinstall, clear cache. I've tried them all and still nothing. Once this is sorted this would be a 5* game in my eyes because 1 and 2 are among the best game ever made imo. Edit - I've left my previous review but it has been sorted. 5* game.

It's good, not *great*. It works perfectly well with no real issues. The biggest problem I encountered was some minor visual jank like your character briefly appearing in front of/behind something they shouldn't and that throwing off your perspective. The story is a bit dull compared to previous entries in the series; you're still basically chasing down a paper trail hours into the game and in previous games you'd have visited two or three different continents or hidden temples by that point.
