The Rise of the Golden Idol is a fantastic puzzle game somewhat similar to investigative games like Return of the Obra Dinn. Although playing the first game isn't strictly necessary, it helps appreciate more of the story. This game is a little longer and a bit more polished than the first, and overall the difficulty is slightly higher. The DLC is larger and harder. Key words are now collected automatically, but there's still no auto-sort. Both games are heaps of fun and deeply underrated.

The game was not working offline so the devs offered a quick resolution by offering a refund for the game and it's DLC. The game itself is pretty great but I wanted a game which i can play offline. No fault with the game or devs at all
