What's New
Fixed: The daily calorie goal intermittently showed a zero instead of the actual goal. Now it holds steady right where you set it. Fixed: For some users, the app would close when browsing bookmarked recipes. Now you can peruse all the tasty options you saved without disruption. *The very hungry caterpillar nibbled a hole in our code. We released him into the wild—now he’s a beautiful butterfly. *For all the latest fixes, update to the latest app version

Decent app when it works. It's greatest strength is having more users to upload nutrition labels than any other platform. it's always been pretty jank though. just had a big update and now i cannot log in. Paying for premium and I'm locked out until the "sign in with Google" button is fixed.

TERRIBLE DESIGN!!! It's even more difficult to log food and to see what you've logged. The app used to be user friendly. but the last two so-called "upgrades" are just getting worse and worse. What good is it to me to see a meal as "Chicken + 2 more"? It's more useful to be able to see all meals, with complete entries for each day. This is the WORST yet. If I could give it ZERO stars I would. I guess it's time to start shopping for a different calorie app.

Editing my review down simply because tbe user interface has gotten less intuitive over the last couple years

I got the paid version years ago, and I muddled through the constant decline after the Under Armor acquisition. I dealt with the crashing, the slow query speed and the random duplication (sometimes triplication) of my entries. This latest UI change is the last straw for me. I'm getting MacroFactor once my sub is up and I suggest anyone looking for nutrition tracking do the same, or at least some other app. MFP is trash. When looking at the reviews, filter by "Latest Version".

Not intuitive to use, free ChapGPT provides better meal plans.
I purchased this app several years ago to access a good meal and macro log with integrated meal planner but it was clunky and not intuitive so it went by the wayside. Recent reviews made me believe that it was much better now, but it seems to be two apps in one. The meal planner is in a separate section from the daily diary so you need to work between the two to log meals. It also bounces between metric and imperial measurements for quantities of ingredients which you need to calculate as you go. For instance, 390g of pasta which isn’t how you would measure pasta in cooking, you would use cups, then you get 15 ounces of tomato sauce 🤷🏻♀️. What do you mean by this, it’s a home cooked chicken dish, that’s using metric measurements. This app is going to drive me nuts. I’ve just thrown another $160 down the drain.

New update
The new update is extremely disengaging - the layout is horrible. Having to open each meal is really visually unappealing. The old layout was much clearer

New update ruined
New update feels less intuitive, almost as if I have to enter more menu screens do to the same tasks as before, not a fan
