Hitman GO is an award-winning turn-based strategy game with beautifully rendered diorama-style set pieces. You will strategically navigate fixed spaces on a grid to avoid enemies and take out your target or infiltrate well-guarded locations. Better than Chess… uses the similar skills, but more fun

Found my way here from Hitman Sniper (their other game, a brilliantly designed FPS game but not at all like this one). Fabulous design and ergonomics (when you can see you’ve screwed up a pathway you can reset in 2 seconds for a reattempt). No ads ‘cos you pay up front. Genuine satisfaction when you solve a level puzzle! Highly recommended game. I want more from this designer.

This is simply one of the best games in the entire App Store. There is something so beautiful about the diorama style of level design, it just works so well here.

Fun but Progress not Saved

Multiple times I have lost in game progress after relaunching the app (on Apple TV). Most recently I had completed chapters 3 and 4, only to find when I launched the app again it had reverted to a previous state half way through chapter 3. Achievements in Game Center were still there, but the in game progress was gone. Hours of progress wasted. Disappointing as the game had been quite enjoyable, but this makes it unappealing to play any further.

I have a 4 ideas for update (not sure if my other reviews were sent)

1. I want you to add costumes to wear. 2.I want you to remove the baseplate below people and add a walking and running animation 3.Hitman items that you unlock at the end of the game like a sniper rifle that kills people in a straight line or a mine that can be placed down. 4. I want you to add a animation for killing them behind the back and different one for the side and front. Also add Hitman weapons that you can buy which trigger special killing animations. It would just would look cool and I would be killing people in style you know. It’s a great game overall and I would be extremely happy if you add these to the game. Just so the game is like the other go games.

great game

completed all the levels with all challenges. some achievements that were based on removing lots of enemies or dying an arbitrary number of times weren’t done but i deleted the app anyway. that was a couple weeks ago and now i’m downloading it to re-experience some elegant assassination puzzles and listen to ave maria. the blood money and silent assassin boards were really nice, the details in each board also is really well-designed, thoughtful, and has the sort of playfulness that hitman thrives on. the GO board is a classic design that inspires calm and relaxation and i got the most fun out of this in the GO trilogy.
