My watch can receive notifications from my phone but the app cannot pair with my vivoactive 5. Please fix thank you.

Cannot add accessory after trying every possible option online

When this app works, it works well, but a brand new vivomove sport right out of the box refuses to connect to the app and is therefore useless. Tried everything and this buggy version of the app (may 2026) with iOS 26.4.2 just won’t work.

We need to talk..

Dear Garmin, We need to talk. Four rides out of five, you’re wonderful. My data uploads, my stats sync, my sensors connect, and I feel like the luckiest cyclist in town. You complete me. But then there’s that fifth ride. That fifth ride where I’m standing in the garage in my kit, watching the head unit search for my groupset, my lights, and my heart rate monitor like it’s never met any of them before. We’ve done this hundreds of times. The heart rate monitor is on my chest. The groupset hasn’t moved. And yet here we are, re-pairing everything like it’s the first date, while I’m already five minutes late out the door. Then I ride. And it’s glorious. Because when you work, you really work. And then I finish. I’m tired, I’m sweaty, I want to see my numbers. And you just don’t sync! The little icon spins. I stare at it. It stares back. I’ve stood in the driveway in lycra longer than I care to admit, clicking “retry” while my neighbours quietly judge me. Here’s the thing, Garmin: I don’t believe anyone at your company actually uses this gear. Because if they did – if even one engineer had ever stood clipped in at 6am watching the head unit refuse to acknowledge that a heart rate monitor exists – this would have been fixed out of pure personal fury. Years ago. I suspect your developers commute by bus. So this is goodbye. Yours, intermittently and exasperated.

No Longer Syncs With Qantas Weekend

Since April 12, Garmin Connect App no longer syncs steps with Qantas Wellbeing App. Despite disconnecting and reconnecting everything on both apps, reinstalling both apps - no luck.
