The prices on this app are insane(in the best way possible)!! The same stuff you can find on apps like Thred UP and Poshmark, you can find on here for 1/4 of the price! Do yourself a favor and ditch those other reseller apps and download Depop! I PROMISE YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!

Please fix payments

I love selling on depop but the new payment update is very confusing. Once an item has sold you must now wait 4-10 days to receive the payment AFTER the item has sold. So you don’t receive any money to pay for the postage of the item??? And it’s very confusing and difficult to check which items you have been payed for and which are still in processing. Please just add something to say if the payment has gone through or still pending‼️‼️

Love Depop but app needs work. 1 - Getting to your ‘likes’ takes three clicks Home>profile>likes tab >all likes. Make ‘my outfits’ its own tab! Likes convert to buys…so stop making it hard to view them. 2 - if someone gives you a discount on an item, you can only click ‘buy now’ not ‘add to bag’. It assumes you just want to buy that discounted item. Nope often I’ve collected a few discounted items and want to buy together.

Communication is less than poor. If you have no option to contact you directly you should have customer relations always available in a chat box. Payouts - I am forever chasing as they are NEVER paid out on time. I only accept PayPal payment for this reason. Disputes - evidence is never looked at. I sold a genuine bag with proof and an email from the company confirming it was their bag I submitted all the evidence. You still refunded the buyer and the bag was never returned you cost me $450. You send offers on my behalf that I did not authorise at times like 5am. If I am honest this is the worst structure of a Buisness I’ve ever come across I hope to god eBay can improve as it has the foundations to be amazing it is just lacking so so much. I pull apart Buisness for a job and put the back together. This needs a lot of work. There a FB pages with over 40k of people complaining daily about Depop I’ve now seen there’s one for Americans also with 170k also complaining.

Do not use Depop!!!!

This is an awful site to try and sell clothes on. Regardless of how well you photograph and describe your garments if the buyer raises an issue they get refunded. This allows for scammers to use your designer garments as a free ‘rental piece’ and ship them back for a full refund, leaving you out of pocket for the shipping. There are much better sites that operate from a place of integrity not laziness.

Love Depop, But Offer Settings Need Fixing

I really enjoy using Depop and appreciate the platform overall. However, I’d like more control over how I manage offers on my listings. Even when I select “send offers manually,” this setting is sometimes overridden and offers are sent automatically. This means I have to repeatedly go back into individual listings to switch the option off daily for the same item, which becomes quite time-consuming. It would be great if sellers could reliably control whether offers are sent automatically or manually. Additionally, introducing an automatic purchase feature when a seller accepts an offer similar to eBay, would make the process much smoother. Aside from these points, Depop is a great platform to sell on ♥️
