the episodes do not load no matter how many buttons I click. I've been in contact with their help desk and they have so far been unable to resolve the issue. this app is so broken.

Adequate, just.

This review is for the app., not the content. Slow, clunky and resource hungry. Requires about 4GB of free space to download a 700MB episode. This is not an issue I have on other apps. I fly a lot, so I rely on downloads a fair bit. The end result is that I use one of the other apps instead. If I struggle to download stuff, there really is no point having it. As an example, I just tried downloading an episode of a series I’m watching on BritBox and was denied due to lack of space (episode was about 680MB which is a bit excessive but shouldn’t have mattered). I then went to Disney and downloaded 7 episodes of a couple of shows (totalling about 2GB) and still haven’t reached my limit of free space! Edit I wrote the above perhaps a year ago, maybe more. Things have not improved. In actual fact they have got worse. I can no longer download any content at all (most up to date version installed). The little circle that should fill does not move at all. Even after half an hour, nothing. This is the most horrendous streaming app. known to mankind. Edit After a few months of not being able to download, that side of things is now resolved. Unfortunately the app is still garbage. Constant closing and reopening of the app is required. Then because of that, it’s forgotten where you were up to and will send you back to the start - it shouldn’t, but that’s what it does. On top of that, it’s lost the ability to cast to my tv. Words cannot describe how truly awful this app is.

Ridiculously impossible to cancel a subscription. Thieving mongrels insisted on helping themselves to a monthly subscription fee after cancelling, when I emailed them to cease doing so, they blamed Google. In the end I had to cancel my card with my bank and file a multi transaction dispute 5 months worth! The bank confirmed it was Britbox and not Google!

Horrid

Can not watch a thing it stops starts stops lags for ages ive reinstalled it and same thing happens. def not worth signing up for so frustrating. ERROR CODE UNKNOWN 😡 After contacting britbox ive decided to Cancel my subscription not paying for a service that never works. Id like this month refunded.

Love BritBox

If you love Brittish crime tv you’ll love this - It’s a must have. I think Brit. Crime tv is better than any other. That’s why I love Britbox. I join on and off when I’m waiting for new murder mystery series to become available. Highly recommended.

Love the shows BUT

I have tried for over a week now to watch my shows. I have rebooted my ipad, deleted and reloaded the app. NOTHING is working. Frustrated as this app costs me money
