YIKES! Well, we really apologize for that last update that was causing Handy to crash on launch for a lot of you folks. Despite our rigorous testing, we're still trying to diagnose and figure out what exactly is going wrong there and reproduce it on our end. In the meantime we are reverting Handy back to the previous 5.0.7 version (Apple still makes us call it something new, so it's technically 5.1.1 yada yada). Anyways, very sorry about that. If YOU encountered the crashing, and want to help us diagnose and figure out what might be going on via some TestFlight beta testing, PLEASE reach out to us at contact@handyarttool.com!

does what it advertises MOSTLY. "see what shadow the head casts at certain angles" is NOT TRUE. WHY do the objects NOT cast shadows on environment? it makes this whole thing almost pointless. please add this feature and i will change this review to 5 stars HAPPILY. as it stands? it's fine for very restricted light interaction study. but without environmental lighting, what's the point? no object exists in empty space. everything MUST CREATE A SHADOW. PLEASE.

Could use more options
I think it could do with facial expressions where you can make it, and a full body option along with hair, it would be much easier as an artist to find out the gravity and laying of things , please consider it.

I Miss It
Handy was an absolutely priceless app for lighting and hands and I used it all the time until it suddenly stopped working. Now it freezes permanently on the menu book screen and now matter how many times it’s reopened or my ipad is restarted, it stays frozen. It’s been this way for at least a few months now. I genuinely miss it every single day. I’ve had to find other apps instead but I feel like a teenager in a bad break up, I just can’t delete the thing. Do what you will with that, it’s a good app if it works for you but if it doesn’t, you will lose $5.

It feels like a joke.
It says $3, then took $25.98 AUD. It is not worth this money at all and half of the features are still locked behind another payment of ‘$3’ which I can only assume is another $26. Complete scam.

Great tool, just a couple of minor tweaks needed.
Probably the best hand posing tool on the market. Good selection of head busts and animal skulls as well. Would like to see a few additional skin colour options, and maybe both old and young hand models. The Foot model DLC is probably the only model that doesn’t look quite right, something about the rendering makes it look a lot more artificial compared to the Hand model. So, maybe a new rendering of the Foot is something to consider. Overall really great reference tool!

I love this app, I love that you can rotate to the desired position. I’d love skeleton hands though, that’d be perfect!
