Way off

Seems to be like 35 to 90 degrees off accuracy, even north is facing the wrong direction. Which brain smart generation decided to design this compass. You need to go back to school.

Opinion

This works well as a compass, but it has a problem with ground level. I can sit with my feet in the water off shore and it tells me that I am at an altitude of thirty feet. I’m happy with it however. (I’m just a lot taller than I realised.)

Stopped working

It used to work, now it doesn’t work as a compass. It only displays longitude and latitude. I guess keeping track and geolocating every individual is Apple’s top priority over providing and maintaining useful capabilities for Apple product users these days. There’s no data to be scraped and sold in a user determining which direction of north is. As long as Apple knows where the user is at all times, and what they are doing and who they are with, job done.
