Poor User Experience

The app feels like you’re browsing the website via the app. It’s slow to load, lethargic feel when browsing, half of the time the images don’t load. Not much flexibility with the filters. User experience is so bad, that I don’t feel like shopping via DJs app and defer to Iconic because they have superior app and experience. Product information is inadequate. Spacing of images is bad. Just the overall experience is poor. They need to make the app better for the users to stick on it longer. Call me for user experience testing.

“Sorry something went wrong”

Constantly get a “Sorry something went wrong” this has happened frequently over the past couple of months, yet have absolutely no issues whatsoever signing into the website. Needs to be rectified as you’re never quite sure when it’s working or not instore for your rewards. If not I have to sign into the website at the counter. I don’t have issues with my other retail apps.

worst app ever, so glitches, couldn't even log in, stood in david jones store for half n hour in a continuous loop of captcha verifications that never verified, so reset password, still same never-ending captcha. not worth the hassle

Can’t even get the app on my phone

Tried multiple times to log in and nothing works. I have tried to reset my password multiple times and it won’t even let me do that. I’d say this app is full of bugs and is generally a waste of time.

Disappointing Digital Experience

I’m genuinely surprised at how poor the David Jones app experience is. For a leading department store with hundreds of millions in assets, you’d expect a functional app that actually supports online sales. Instead, you get randomly logged out and then can’t log back in. I’ve reset my password multiple times with no success. The app constantly throws errors, and there’s no tech support or anyone to contact — just endless frustration until you give up and shop elsewhere. It’s disappointing, especially as someone who’s been a loyal in-store and online customer for decades. A brand with this reputation should be delivering a far better digital experience.
